The North Coast 500

You might have heard everyone talk about the North Coast 500, but what is it all about and why is it so damn special?

Take on the famous North Coast 500

For those not aware, this 500 mile driving route around Scotland is described as, ‘the new scenic route around Scotland, showcasing fairy-tale castles, white sandy beaches and historical ruins’.

If you’re not sold on just that, (and we aren’t sure why you wouldn’t be), the route takes in six regions around the North coast of Scotland. These include The Black Isle, (which is neither black nor an island…but stick with us), Caithness, Easter Ross, Inverness-shire, Sutherland and Wester Ross. It is basically one of the best possible routes you could plan to take in Scotland and we highly recommend it.
